Man there must be some rush in Photography school!! There’s like what five people asking the same thing?? ^_^
~anyways~
New tech is very in NOW soooooo
Try a mix if your going for mod then instead of the same “mod preppy clothes and fashion of the future and blah blah blah” (they’re all ugly anyways) TRY MODERN PUNK!!
I’ve never seen people try to reinvent the punk or Gothic look.
But and like a lot of now and later fashion. People are SO worried about the future add some of today’s mod and later’s mod. AND DON”T DO RUNWAY LOOK!!!! (>_< aww thats just soo ugly!!! like with the cray plastic look!?!?! who the heck thouaght of that?) Better yet make it like a mod season dress or out fit theme. i’m only 14 but i’m still a good artist! ^_~ see ya

It depends on whether you want to depict wearable street clothes, emphasis on the clothes, or want to present an art print, where clothes and model are part of the composition.
I used to take test shots for models composite cards, so we could experiment as much as we liked.
I was shooting a 6′ black cat-walk model and decided to wrap her up in ‘gold fablon’, with bow and pork-pie hat. It looked really good but she couldn’t move, let alone walk.
My immediate image of the model is; Short dark hair, face, striking rather than pretty, stay away from pretty, slightly dangerous, wearing something feminine in deep purple and pearl grey and maybe a scarf or sash in peppermint green?
A wide utility belt, gunfighter stylie?
Lighting; moody but safe.
Contrasting Accessories; ‘Junk Yard’ chic, Refined and shiny, polished steel with a ‘thrown together, used anything that was at hand’ look.
As far as effects with digital gear I haven’t a clue.
Try the happy accident routine but make sure you keep a record, so you can find it again if it works.
Location; For me, in the junk yard, finding your jewelery and caught in the act. soft spotlight effect. I always found it best to go mad at first then refine it to ‘a little mad’ if necessary.
Hope this has been of some help.
